Poured hard from the bottle to the glass. 2 inches of tan head, falling back quickly to leave a thin film and minimal lacing.
Copper mahogany in color.
Aroma is like the little engine that could, but never quite does. I think I can I think I can....
Mild sweat bready malt and some background hops that present with fruity pebbles and hemp.
Taste is a little better, starting out sweat and malty, a well balanced flavor. Becoming a bit more bitter and finishing with a crisp bittering hop profile. Hemp, leafy hop resin. Kind of a mixture of cascade and centennial.
Feel is slick with a little thicker creaminess and carbo prick.
Overall the flavor was the high point on this guy and all else seemed to lack for me.
A decent offering into the ipa category as flavors were pretty damn good.
This is a much improved brew over their other offerings IMO for hop forwardness into flavor.
Good summer brew on a hot day and a nicely placed alcohol punch.

Dark amber color with two fingers of head that had good retention before settling to a thick cap. Moderate amount of lacing is left down the glass.
Aroma was a let down with its timid hop aroma. Mild herbal and pine notes. Sweet caramel from the malt as well.
The flavor was equally disappointing. Definitely IPA levels of bitterness, but the hop flavor is very weak. Herbal and mint notes from the hops. Slightly sweet malt flavor. Nothing poor about the flavor, just not one of the better IPA flavor.
Enjoyable texture to the beer. Creamy feel that is unusual for most pale ales. The addition of oats is noticeable and appreciated.
The hops made a disappointed appearance in this beer. Would be a good beer if they could get more out of the hops besides bitterness.

Pours a murky amber color, clearly unfiltered, half finger of off white head
Smell is a dose of pine and earthy hop notes, a little citrus flows through, caramel, toffee, a nice plum like smell with a decent bread backing
Taste is bitter pine, a little grapefruit, bread, biscuit malt, caramel sweetness, some orange, herbal and earthy hops shine through in the bittering finish
Mouthfeel is medium, average carbonation with a nice dry finish
Good stuff, not great, but a nice beer none the less. Give it a shot.
