Appearance - Thin white head that dissipates quickly. Golden yellow with a slight haze. Body looks like a 50/50 blend of filtered apple juice and apple cider.

Smell - Virtually indistinguishable from Apple juice or cider, but perhaps with a little more sweetness to it.

Taste - Sparkling apple juice. Only the slightest hint of alcohol in the finish, as well as a slight bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Has great fizzy mouthfeel with a decent amount of froth. Light textured body, but plenty of carbonation.

Drinkability - Tastes great. Not a session beer, but makes a great gateway beer for newbies getting into new styles.

12oz bottle into matching Lindemans tulip glass.

A: Pours a clear apple juice golden with a thick, and frothy bright white head. Sheets of impressive stick lace was left down the glass.
S: Cheesy notes of funk mixed well with sweet and dry notes of green and golden apples. The yeast adds a nice gym sock funkiness. Thankfully not as cloying smelling as some of the other flavors.
T: Apple is green and tart, but there’s still that characteristic Lindemans candy sweetness to the flavor. In other words, this reminds me of apple hard candies. The funky yeast from the nose is all but overshadowed by the sweet and lightly tart apple juice. Sweet sugar lingers long after the swallow.
M: Medium-full body, viscous, almost syrupy or greasy mouthfeel. Carbonation is low and soft, and lightens up the mouthfeel a touch. Drinks well and finished fairly crisp despite the sweetness.
O: One of the more preferable flavors in my opinion. Still way to sweet for me to drink regularly. I gave the second half of the bottle to my unknowing wife, who as if on cue exclaimed: “It’s like a jolly rancher!”

Pours a nice golden amber with a decent head. Tons of sediment at the bottom. Smells like apple and tastes like it too. Nice clean and refreshing. Reminds me more of a champagne than a beer. Sweet with no link to a beer. Nonetheless, a nice refreshing beer for a summers day.
