Pulled this baby from my fridge after a late night attempt to find a nightcap hidden in the nether regions of the icebox...
Ripped foil off the top, pop the top and lo and behold, there is a cork inside. A fumbling dig through the utility drawer produces the corkscrew. This thing may have cobwebs on it, but it will work.
I uncork her and pour to a small snifter. Pale yellow orange color with a pineapple juice look to it. MMMM....I can smell the fruitiness. Forms a pretty good frothy head that proves to be the equivalent of a 98 pound weakling. Shows up talking trash and before you can turn from laughing with your buddies it has disappeared. Oh well.
Smells of pineapple and yeast. I take a hearty whiff and the late summer smell of peaches comes vaguely.
First gulp takes me back to early August summer evenings. Peaches, beer. Yummy. Tastes like a wicked fruit nectar brewed up by aristocrats as they enjoy an evening on the gazebo. Peach, pineapple. Fruit sugar and malt. The yeast comes through to remind you of her Belgian origins. Slight sourness on the back end the puts a cap on the sweetness nicely. Leaves a syrupy taste in your mouth. Post swallow is slightly bland.
I can imagine drinking this on the deck after a hot day working in the yard. The sweetness might make it slightly stomach-turning after a few glasses.
I would drink this stuff again. Its good and refreshing. More of a summer thing, I guess.

Sampled earlier tonight on 6/26/14. Comes in a heavy 355 ml (12 ounce) bottle that has both the metal crown top and a cork. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to their flute glass that came in a 2-pack around last Christmas (Apple & Raspberry which are long gone.) :)
Pours a pretty golden color with a thin white head with some sediment left in the bottom of the bottle. Really no lacing to speak of. The aroma is of peaches with some yeast. The taste has much more flavor than the aroma and besides the peach there is a hint or tangerine and orange in there as well. Very smooth and quite tasty actually. Good drink and goes down so easy!
