Served in a 10 oz chalice glass
Appearance – Served a beautiful ruby red with a nice red head. The head fades slowly over time leaving a reddish-white film on the top of the beer.
Smell – Sour raspberry through and through.
Taste – A tart raspberry flavor hits the tongue. The taste sweetens a bit toward the middle, but only to sour up even more at the end. A very tart, but pleasant raspberry flavor is left to linger in the mouth.
Mouthfeel – Light bodies and quite a high level of carbonation. Very fitting for the light abv and tartness of the fruity beer
Overall – It is a nice dessert beer, but not one I would want on any real occasion. For the lambic style however it is quite nice and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light sweet and sour brew.
Serving type: on-tap
