Poured into a Lindemans flute glass.
Appearance: Slightly hazy dark maroon/pink. The only time I've seen a purple head on a beer! About one finger at first but fades leaving lacing.
Aroma: The raspberry is definitely there. Just a hint of vinegar that I tend to associate with sour beers.
Taste: Sweet at first with great raspberry flavor. Then turns on a dime and becomes tart through the finish. Almost mimics the experience of eating a raspberry that's not quite ripe. A very pleasant palate overall.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied (pretty thick for only 2.5% ABV). A little below average drinkability because of the tartness. Lots of effervescence.
Final Thoughts: I enjoyed this one, it's sweet and tart all in the same sip. Would I drink it again? Maybe, just one flute is good enough for now though.
