Poured in a snifter as a simple dessert.
A: Hazy dark ruby/pink with pink foam.
S: Woah! I get hit by the raspberry scent from about 3 feet away. There's also a slight hint of citrus tartness, but not much else.
T: Very sweet and, as expected, the raspberry flavor really dominates here. I also get a nice tart citrus finish. The low ABV means no hint of alcohol heat, which is probably a good thing, because I have a feeling this would hide a higher alcohol content well and sneak up on you fast.
M: Creamy and very bubbly, like a champagne.
D: This was too sweet for anything more than an occasional dessert. I have been reading that it mixes well with a stout or porter, and I would like to try it that way, or maybe over a brownie for dessert. Overall, an pleasant experience.
