Bottle: great, funky dark green 375mL bottle, reasonable (but a bit tacky) label, corked and capped.
Appearance: awesome lambic colours - deep purple-red with a thick, frothy pink head with good retention and lacing
Aroma: very interesting. Ripened red raspberries with a sour twist and a touch of light, pleasant yeast. A touch too sweet for me, but in keeping with the style.
Taste: nice sweet raspberries again, but met by a wonderful tartness and bitterness that whets the palate. Delicious, and so different!
Aftertaste: the whetting of the palate makes the mouth salivate, redoovering the taste. Very nice indeedy :)
Mouth feel: very up-front carbonation, brings the raspberry across with a whack. Medium body suits it perfectly.
Overall: very interesting. Fantastic for something a little different every now and then. I'm not a sweet tooth kind of person, but I like this - enough tartness mixed in to compliment the sweet flavours.
