Returning to one of the first beers to make me realize my destiny of beer-tasting the world, way back at Clancy's (Bloomsburg, PA) in my college days...thick crimson red body with a full inch off-white creamy head in its official Lindemans flute....will it be redundant--or obvious--to note the raspberry? a light yeast strain as well...refreshingly delicious...creamy, fizzy, lively palate balances with a soft presence perfectly...a tart raspberry to start... acidic, slightly burning end...as enjoyable and candylike a beer I've experienced...the fiz and burn could be a slight turn-off, but tart and appropriate to its promise...perfect as a stand-alone...
