a - Pours a deep, well, raspberry in color. Opaque. Pinkish head dissipates in an almost mottled fashion.
s - Raspberry candy and no room for much else
t - Interesting. Just when it threatens to go cloyingly sweet it heads deeply sour. There is an odd hollowness to it - the best I can describe it is that the middle section of your tastebuds are looking around for the sweet/sour party going on in the front and back. Has that tannin-like bite you get when crunching a raspberry seed - a good thing.
m - Nice carbonation gives it an almost frothy feeling.
d - Grading inside the style it tastes alright. It's probably easier for these concoctions to err on the side of overcarbination or sweetness but this one takes the high road and goes for sour and real raspberries. Finishing smooth and sour leaves you looking for another sip. I could probably do a glass of this lambic in a sitting. Extra bump for hiding any hint of alcohol content.
