Got this one at De Heeren a couple years back and shared this particular bottle with the Loo Crew. Thanks for the fun afternoon guys!
From a 75cl into a snifter
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, looser looking, white colored head with good retention. Amber orange with medium levels of carbonation. Head fades to a foam cap. A half wisp remains leaving some dots of lacing down the glass.
SMELL: Lots of funky on this one. Some moldy and dank basement aromas, hay and barnyard, as well as some light lemon notes. Bold for sure, and quite funky.
TASTE: More acidity than the nose had suggested, with funky flavors at the swallow. Moldy and hay flavors with funky cheese and some barnyard flavors at the finish. Bold aftertaste of funky and moldy cheese and a touch of lemon sourness and vinegary acidity. Funky stuff and quite flavorful.
PALATE: Medium body and higher levels of carbonation. Light on the palate, goes down fine and finishes quite dry and puckering. Light and zesty carbonation.
OVERALL: Pretty good stuff. A little funkier and danker than I normally go for, as I'm usually a straight up sour and acidity kind of guy, but this was still really well done and very enjoyable. I've gone through a few of these and look forward to seeing how it develops. Well worth checking out. Recommended.

This beer is delicious. It has a very distinctive aroma of Lindeman's. It was way overcarbed but my goodness it was tasty and unique. One of teh better lambics I've had this year.

Explosive out of the bottle, the cork took the corkscrew with it into a nearby wall.
Extremely high carbonation, it was pouring foam for the first couple glasses.
Dense head of foam with some golden bubbly lambic underneath.
Musty, moldy wet cork funk in the aroma, wet basement.
Citric lemony tartness and wet hay, slight bitterness, bone dry finish with some light residual oak character.
Body is light, very charged and effervescent, though nearly to a fault. I swirled a bit and the champagne carb remained.
Overall this was interesting to try, though not everyone's cup of tea. The basement funk was a little intense.
This was one I thought i'd never see, thanks to Joe & Dasha for sharing!

RBSG 17 grand tasting, courtesy of T0rino. Pale, golden, light haze, fluffy head. Nose is pure sourness, funky, yeasty, cheese, meadow. Taste is all of the above with a nice velvety feel, and just enough of a pucker. Really nice!

Phenomenal stuff. Tons of nice mineral funk with a bit of citrus and stone fruit preserves to brighten things up. Tom, thanks so much man!!

Thanks to Brad for sharing this on 3/13/16.
L: Beautiful. Hazy orange, light amber color with an eggshell white head that fades to a ring with some bubbles in the middle.
S: The nose here is very Girardin, which is very much like fresh Cantillon. Very clean funk that's almost soapy but lemon and hay.
T: Much better here. Lovely funk and lemon that blends well with the malt. Maybe some slight amaretto.
F: Perfect. Just like 3F OG. Full and creamy and effervescent.
O: Fantastic gueuze and the best Lindemans I've had. Had this been blended with 3F lambic, it probably would've been a 5 for me, but this is great too. For what it costs now though, it's not worth it to me.
