This is the smaller of the two stores. It has a pretty large selection of macros, almost anything you could want by Bud, Bud light, Busch, Coors, Coors Light, Miller. Magic Hat, Sam Adams, Rogue, Southern Tier, Dogfishead, Erie Brewing Company beers. A good supply of bombers from Southern Tier big beer series. A couple taps to fill a growler.

A small TV and a few tables with bar stools. I did not try any food here. Not a bad place to stop and get a quick 6 pack if you are not to picky about what you want. Well worth the drive to six pack west.

There are two of these stores here in Erie, Pa. One on the East side (that would be this one) and another on the West side (which is the better of the two).

Very small store. Only about three coolers of Micros (and that includes Sam Adams and Sierra Nevada).

The best beers they carry are as follows....
lots of Southern Tier, some Troegs, some Victory, Two Hearted, Erie Brewing Company beers,
Guinness, Mackesons, some Dogfish Head, Appalacian, some New Holland, a couple of occasional Rogue, Stone, Chimay, and Sam Smith Bombers.

I know that there are some decent beers mentioned above, but they refuse to branch out and carry other beers like Weyerbacher and Stoudts (which are both PA breweries mind you).

They won't carry anything but Two Hearted from Bell's. Customers make suggestions and they just blow you off.

The one on the West side of town is better, but it's still the same owner, and that's the real problem here.

With the additions of Wegmans and U Pick 6, they're going to need to make some changes to stay afloat.

I was excited when I realized that there was a HoB closer to where I worked so that I wouldn't have to go out of my way to pick up beer that I enjoy. However, upon entering this facility I was immediately turned off.

The store itself is quite small, with 3 or 4 people looking at beer you won't have much room to move about. The selection was limited, even compared to its sister store across town. The selection of single was also less than impressive. Why would I want to make a mixed six pack of Light beers and Yuengling?

I recommend HoB West over this location any day. Or better yet, try out the new Wegman's beer selection.
