Barrel aged rustic farmhouse ale. Blend of belgian blonde, multigrain saison and 100% brett beer. Aged in bourbon, rye, wine and brandy barrels.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Hazy deep orange. Medium white head. Chunky collar.
Smell - Lots of barrel. Whiskey. Oak. Vanilla. Some saison behind there, but it's a lot of barrel.
Taste - Nice tartness. A bit cidery. Whiskey is strong, still. Grain. I get the wine barrel, too. Sourness gets much stronger in the finish and as it warms. Some caramel malts come through, too.
Mouthfeel - High carbonation. Tingly. Sharp tartness.
Overall - A complex saison. Some flavors are just a touch too intense.
