I grab a glass of this with my lunch and it is served in a 12 oz fluted glass. The beer pours a clear amber to caramel color with minimal edge layer of off white head. Aroma is very mild, but I detect nutmeg and cinnamon and a bit of pie crust scent. The body is average and the beer contains small and tingly carbonation. Flavor is similar to the nose with some toffee and then bits of spice with nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves lingering in my mouth for a long spicy finish. This is a great fall seasonal and with its ease of consumption and smoothness, pairs nicely with just about any meal.

A: Amber with a nice off-white head and very nice lacing.

S: Sweet roasted pumpkin with some muted spices.

T: Pumpkin flavors, some pie spices and a bit of hoppy bitterness at the end.

M: Creamy with a very nice dry finish.

D: Muted spices make me enjoy this beer more than most in the style. If you like more spices in your pumpkins than this will underwelm you. It is a pumpkin that I could drink a couple of.

Sampled at the brewpub as part of several rounds of samplers with a group (which eventually became rounds of pints, but I got some notes before all that)
Pours a light caramel with a wisp of white head, some good retention and lacing. the usual spiciness and bread on the nose and through the flavor. The nutmeg and cinnamon were there enough to keep the beer honest and not overpower you.
Mouthfell was medium and it finished clean with a hint of residual nutmeg and vanilla.
Overall: Not a bad beer at all and holds its own as a pumpkin.

Sampled at the Malvern McKenzie Brew House, served in a 16 oz pint glass. The beer poured a deep brown, thick color with a medium tan head. The nose of the beer was pleasant with touches of cinnamon and clove a maybe a hint of pumpkin. The taste was more of the same with a bit more cinnamon than in the nose. Overall this is a well rounded pumpkin ale and a good example of the style and pretty drinkable on a cold night.

presented a deep amber-colored liquid with modest white head. Smell consisted of pumpkin spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves) that were blended in an appetizing manner. Taste follows through with the nice spiciness. Has a nice refreshing taste. A nice tasty beer. I agree that is more similiar to the DFH product than the Blue Moon product. Its like comparing a homemade (DFH) pumpkin pie to a store bought (blue Moon) product.

Amber coloured with a nice white head of froth. The aroma consists of pumpkins, spices, nice malts, and subdued hops. The taste is spicy up front with a nice hop flavor in the middle and a lingering malty/spicy finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and the drinkability is good. Reminiscent of DFH Punkin' Ale!

Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewery. This is a very nice light and flavorful ale. It’s light amber colored and topped with a thin head. Small hints of spices in the aroma. Light in body and spicy. Pumpkin spices in there including nutmeg, cinnamon. Zesty and refreshing, this is one damn good pumpkin beer. I could also detect the vanilla that was used in the brewing process, Easy drinking. Very good.
