Draft at the brewpub.

Pours a pale golden yellow color with a one finger white head that quickly settles into lasting ring.  Spotty lacing left behind.

Sligtly floral, grassy hop aroma but otherwise bland with pale malt and grain. Little bit of light fruit.

Medium bodied and more interesting than the nose suggests.  Crisp hop bite lingers over lighter body and is counters by hints of grass, straw, light fruit and pale malt.  Slightly grainy but not adjunct like.  Toward the end if the palate I'm picking up some bread, biscuit and apple/pear sweetness.  Not very interesting but it's light and refreshing with a nice hop bite.

A clear, very light and pale gold beer with a small head and decent lacing. Grainy malt nose with a touch of honey sweetness and a very mild floral hop note.

Flavor follows the nose; it’s simple and straightforward but decently tasty for a light lager; again there is some grainy maltiness and a trace of floral hops; a bit sweet with honey and caramel.

Light body, crisp and refreshing, although it could clean up and finish a bit drier. Not bad but also clearly for the non-craft drinkers in the crowd.

Pours an extremely pale yellow with very little head. The nose is extremely light with notes of grains, corn, and herbal hops. The flavor is again very faint, grains and corn up front, citric hops with an herbal note and touch of bitterness. The body is thin, crisp, failing in the finish.

Pours a faintly hazed bright golden straw, moderate cap of frothy white head, decent retention. Scent is mild, notes of musty grass without much else going on, hints of fusel alcohol on the tail end. Taste begins as expected, a typical light lager with more grassyness to the taste, oooputting twang towards the back end. Light bodied, undercarbonated for style. Passable light lager - not much else to say about it.

First had: on tap at McKenzie Brew House, Malvern, PA

Poured a clear straw color with a small head that dissipated quickly. Not much in the aroma, light malts and a bit of hoppiness barely detectable. Very light taste, grassy and a touch of citrusy hops. Light bodied, thin, and pretty drinkable if you're not the adventurous type. This is the beer to order if you drink Bud or Miller.

presented as a light amber liquid with modest white puffy head. Smell is minimal with a slight sweetness noted. Taste is extremely light (hence the name) yet deliveres a nice crisp mouthfeel. It seems be a beer designed to attract the coors light crowd. This might be a good thing if it helps to introduce them to the world of better beer.

Clear golden with a small white head that does not last so long. The aromas are of light malts, and slight hops, not much more. The taste is similar, this is definately a light beer folks! The mouthfeel is medium-thin and the drinkability is decent. For a light lager this is one of the best examples out there!

I wouldn't normally review a light beer but I thought that this was a rather decent and tasty beer for its style. appearance a straw yellow with good clarity and a white foamy head. smell of good wholesome yeast with little sourness. It actually has a nice taste with touches of crystal malt, a hint of fruity sweetness. I thought this to be a rather good session beer if one wanted something light or low in alchohol. Probably the most enjoyable light beer I've had in along time, not that I've had many...

Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewery. Not much of an aroma to speak about from this very pale straw colored brew. Maybe a slight whiff of grains. The taste is clean and pleasant for a light beer. Not harsh like some of the other macro lights. This is toted as an all natural beer brewed without the use of any adjuncts. Very light in body, easy as water to drink and finishes dry and crisp. A plain and simple light lager beer. Enjoyable.

Although I would normally object to having my beer delivered in a chilled pint glass, it's the perfect serving vessel for this brewed-for-the-masses lager. Its crystal clear, light-straw body rests beneath a thin lid of bright white foam that dissipates quickly. Some light grainy malt appears in the nose but is hindered by a bit of sulphur. In the mouth, it's thin bodied with a brisk carbonation that leaves it quite crisp. The flavor delivers a well-balanced, mildly sweet, semi-grainy malt; and it finishes short and dry with little fan fare. With a starting gravity of only 8.5 degrees plato, however, this must be really light - as in calories! It's crisp and refreshing with a low alcohol (3.5%) that lends itself to having more than one if so desired. Clearly not the best brew from the outstanding McKenzie's, but good enough for grandpa!
