Located in a shopping center near a high school. It's next to a Total Wine & More (which has a much better beer selection, but not the ones exclusive to TJ). Looks small from the outside but it's about average in size for a TJ.
The beer section is near the wine toward the right side of the store. There is a shelf row that contains the beer. There are singles and six packs available, as well as a mix your own six pack. The selection is a good variety of beers, including several of the Trader Joe's brand. For the TJ brands the price is cheap, and I'd say the other brands are about normal, maybe a little below average.
I didn't get a chance to talk to anyone about the beer so it's hard to say how much they know, but they are willing to help if you look confused or have a question.
Not the best selection, but if you're in the store anyway the selection won't let you down, neither will the price. They also have their own beers under the Trader Joe label that are contract brewed by various breweries.

Went here after a visit to Total Wine & More in the same strip mall. There's one short aisle of beer here. Most all of it is Trader Joe's brands with a few unusual extras (Pilsner Urquell, Chimay, can't remember others but it was on the order of 6 or so kinds of beer). Prices were fine, but the selection was so limited that I would never buy beer here -- really very, very poor set of choices.
I did get one beer here -- The Trader Joes Private Selection 2009 beer that is brewed by Unibroue. It was probably the worst beer I tasted in the entirety of 2009. Won't be buying beer here again.

The bulk of their selection is just Trader Joe's brand...they have no shortage of these, and they are cheap (around $6 for a 6 pack). As for the non-Trader Joe's brand beers, this location offers a better selection than your average grocery store or gas station, but that's about it. In other words, the selection is not going to blow anyone away. No bland macros, though (at least not to my memory) which speaks to the character of the store. The prices are decent. For example, I remember seeing that the big bottles of Lindemann's lambic were 10 something, when at most other places they're 13 or 14.
