A-Hazy, dark orange tinted brownish copper with a thin light tan head that left spotty lace.

S-Almost nothing other than the fainest of roasted malt.

T-Better flavour than aroma. Biscuity roasted/chocolate malt with a decent earthy/spicy hop ending.

M-Medium body, smooth, chewy, bready mouthfeel.

D-Needs a bit more umph. Not bad but I need more flavour. Kind of dull overall.

A: Pours a hazy brown into the glass with a small head that leaves lacing.

S. Bready, caramel, slight bit of fruit, bit of hops

T. Malty, bready, toasty with an aftertaste of hops

M. Medium body, no carbonation sting. Somewhat chewy

D. A good solid American Brown. I would and will buy again. Overall a good beer

On tap at Old Forge on 12/26/08.

A - Muddly light brown body with thin tan cap and modest carbonation. Head receded but left thick swatches of lacing behind.

S - Not much going on here save for some sweet caramel malt and subtle toffee notes. There is also a faint earthy hop presence.

T - Malty, of course, with caramel and toffee and the forefront. Hint of earthy hop bitterness and some bready malt in the finish.

M - Medium body with a syrupy texture and moderate carbonation. Touch of bitterness on the palate in the backend.

D - Meh? Typical brown ale, in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of the style to begin with, and this did little to sway my opinion.
