We brew this easy-going golden ale with a bit of Nebraska honey for a unique, sweet-yet-dry character, balanced with a crisp hop finish. Brewed with American, English & German grown barley, American hops and Nebraska honey.

I got a bottle of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had very subtle grain and honey notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base with honey and grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

a somewhat simple beer for what it is, but a tasty and easy drinking six pack at a fair price in a place where packaged craft beer isnt as easy to come by. i like the use of honey in this golden blonde ale, it adds a delicate middle sweetness and a cool floral element that goes well with the bready yeast i can taste. an odd combination in the style, but really its only point of distinction. it is fuller bodied too for the style, which i think helps it seem more hearty and satisfying for such a lightly flavored ale. carbonation is nice as well. i wasnt too impressed with the aftertaste though, a slight tannic thing kind of disrupts the smoothness of the body and the honey, and it lingers kind of long (also the burps dont taste very nice). these beers have been really hit or miss for me, a couple of them are awesome and a couple not so much. this is a good middle of the road sort of introductory craft beer, easy to slam down, but also just interesting enough with the yeast and honey to not be boring.

Nice light color. Poured from a bottle, it has a one finger light colored head. A very nice honey taste with no after taste at all makes it very drinkable. I like it a lot!

Bitter but smooth. Very good in-between flavor that is more crafty than a typical wheat bear. Has a honey flavor without being really sweet

Pours a dark pureed apple color body, 100% opaque and thick, with nice head and lace on top, leaving a thick webbing. 2 fingers to start, recedes quickly but keeps its form fairly nicely.
Aroma of apple cider vinegar, baked malts, apricot jam, herbal hop. Not exactly a faint bouquet, but a crowded one.
Flavor of biscuit, scotch tape, antiseptic, stale honey lozenges, herbal hop. It is a bit on the hoppy/antiseptic side, all the way through to the end where a pleasant biscuit yeast flavor settles in. The bread permeates throughout the whole body but appears loudest at the end. It's not as bad as it sounds, but it's not real great either.
The feel is creamy, densely lit carbonation, and a dry medicinal finish.
Overall, Chaco Canyon is a unique beast but not something I'll rush out to try again. It was as I expected, an average to less than average honey blonde ale. I'd gladly do without the scotch tape and antiseptic notes.
