This is a light golden colored brew. Hoppy aroma, very much so. Tastes hoppy, with the hops present up front, and a thin body that drops off quickly. It’s an easy drinker and all right but not the strongest beer (speaking flavor-wise, not in terms of alcoholic content) on their board.

Poured into a pilsner glass.
A: The pour was somewhere in between hazy and clear and had an orange tone. By the time it reached my table there wasn't any head left.
S: Very hoppy volatile smell.
T: Although this beer was very hop-forward, especially for a pale ale, it had some residual sweetness to help balance it out and not make it feel like a true IPA.
M: Pleasant but nothing astounding.

Appeared slightly orange to amber with a moderate head and decent lacing.
Smell was plenty hoppy but not to the point of being IPA like. This was more of a pils type hops aroma, and this boldly carried over to the taste. It was a bit lighter drinking than a typical APA, but still had plenty of taste. There was a good balanced malt profile as well.
Feel wise it was crisp, light, and easy to drink. Another great offering from Freetail.

Pours a slightly hazy light orange color with a thin layer of off-white head. Pretty good looking beer and I have noticed that none of Freetail's beers are all that clear.
Nose is heavy on the caramel maltiness with a bit of a subdued hop aroma. Pretty clean and crisp smelling beer.
The flavor shows off much more hoppy bitterness than the nose indicates, but still less than I was expecting. It tastes more akin to a good ESB. It has really nice malty balance and it is refreshingly clean. This is a nice session beer for those who seek a tasty, balanced APA.
