A great, solid, summer quaffer. It reminds me of nothing ever-so-much as a well made American Wheat Ale with a strong, clean lactic throughline. The barrel aging shows up barely around the fringe to tie things together, smoothing out the edges, providing a hint of sweetness and complexity. The twang and muskiness of the wheat slip in.

In some ways, this is flawless... there are no off-putting directions from any bugs or wild yeast. In others, it's just a touch... underwhelming? But that might be unfair, a touch. This is not a gueuze, or even a would-be. A fairer comparison would be a Berliner Weisse. This has more body and fullness, a touch more sweetness, but what it lacks in complexity it makes up for in being a delicious glass of beer.

Thanks, awinkro, for this one.

Bottle shared by Dreadnaught33. Thanks Jonathan!

This is my second time enjoying this beer. The beer is a hazy, golden straw hue with a small ring of pure white head. The aroma brings funk, lemon, white wine, hay, sweet tarts. Sour with some tangy citrus notes. A touch of oak with some nice brett presence. Light to medium in body with a puckering finish. Pretty tasty.

Nice golden straw color on the brew, ring of bone white head. Some lacing with a swirl.

The smell seems heavy on the Brett and wine, not much oak or tartness present. Funky, straw malt little bit of lemon zest as well. The taste follows suit but with an extra layer of sweetness and a bit of a wisp of sour in the aftertaste. A very dry and falls off with a sweet tart sort if powdery sweet sour. Lemongrass as well. Feel is ok, a bit watery and leaves a lemony sort of tartness on the tongue.

Overall good but not amazing. Little disappointing for me.
