First beer of Tejas 2012 beer, err, business trip, $5.50 for 12 oz. goblet, 6.6.12.
Nary any head, a thin ring around edge and a small island of small bubbles on top of yellowish gold very hazy body, no visible carbonation. Fruity nose, peach and peels no seeds, not overly sweet aromas, a bit of funk, light moist hay but not to a James Brown funk type level. Taste is a nice balance of tart and mild sourness balanced by sweetness of fruit, hops not very prominent, a bit of floralness. Mouthfeel medium, slight bit of stickiness though a rather dry finish interesting. The beer that changed my mind about Freetail, very intriguing, too bad I couldn't work my way through the Tower of Sours. Came back the next day and it was all gone, glad I was able to try this, The Usual Suspects would have enjoyed this.

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Hazy yellow body. Small white head that becomes a very thin collar.
Smell - Peach and a little bit of vanilla. Wheat. Lemon acidity. Some oak.
Taste - Peach is less intense. More grain and strong sourness. Lemony. A little oak.
Mouthfeel - Very light and well carbonated. Kinda spritzy.
Overall - Very enjoyable if uncomplex.

Bottle thanks to Daniel at cottonwood! Thank you sir!
white head. Color is a hazed golden orange.
Flavor profile: a lot is sourness. Acidic and tart. Lots of fresh peaches. Has a wheat base. Some lemon citrus and a touch of spice. Some funkiness.
Mouthfeel: tart and clean. Light bodied with a higher amount of carbonation. Ends clean.
Overall, awesome sour! Very drinkable. The peach flavors were great.
