This is our most refreshing beer. Blonde and smooth, sort of English ale, with 5% alcohol. Classic English pub beer. With more flavor than the traditional blondes.

A: Rich yellow, clear, lots of fair size bubbles rising in streams to a small bright white head that falls fast. Skim retains nicely & leaves a good bit of lacing.

S: Quite nice & inviting fresh milled malted barley with a grainy and sort of honey-like sweetness, some light crystal/caramel, & a touch of biscuit. Hint of hops way in the background. Ghost hint of esters if you hunt for them.

T: Very fresh base malty taste. Rounded out by some biscuit, a touch of a honey-like sweetness, and a hint of dry cracker. Hops are leafy & grassy, and just a pinch herbal when they first push through in the middle. Initially somewhat restrained bitterness. Through the end & finish they grow notably more bitter, more herbal, & even gain a woody hint. Whisper of light fruitiness floating around the edges.

M: Just barely medium body with balanced & matched carbonation. Refreshing with a very straight-ahead & "classic" feel. Nicely hop drying in the finish with just enough umph to encourage another drink.

D: Nice transition of aromas & flavors. Very balanced & highly drinkable. I'd call it a summer bitter (or a quite bitter, very pale mild). Too hoppy for a cream ale. And blonde is more a US style, and this is rather British. Mostly though, I want another one – highly sessionable.

Picked up as part of a sixer that included Monserrate Roja and Candalaria Classica along with a BBC imperial pint. This brew is listed here on BA as a cream ale but the bottle actually says it is a blonde kolsch, never-the-less, let's give it a whirl. Popping the top I get a very grape like kolsch smell. Pours into a SAPP to a very white, nearly pinot grigio color with a bright white two finger head. Taste is very dry and unoffending. Spot on for the style. This is a great lighter beer to accompany seafood or to be imbibed in the heat.

This is a great beer. Pours a pale and intense golden colour completely translucid and with a little head that lasts very shortly. The smell is strongly citrusy and also reflects much of the hops present. The taste, very refresing, first off gives a slight carbonation mouthfeel and the beer, with perhaps a mild predominance of the hops, shows a range from the alcohol to the malt and some fruityness. It may well be very drinkable, it's a good beer undoubtedly.

Pale yellow color with a thin head with a low retention.
Light aroma of malt, vanilla and floral notes.
Flavor is more interesting, though it is a Kolsch, so don’t expect something bold. Taste of fresh pale malt and notes of white wine with gaz and herbs. A bit citrusy going on. Mildly dry aftertaste with low bitterness.
Light body with a good carbonation and small bubbles.
Faithful to style, light and refreshing.
