The beer pours a nice amber color with a 1/2" white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is average. It has a grainy pale and crystal malt scent along with a slightly dry yeast aroma. The taste is decent. It has a grainy pale and crystal malt flavor that has excellent caramel notes. The mouthfeel is good. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is pretty drinkable beer, but these guys might want to adjust the grain mill. The beer has a very grainy feel.

Pours a lighter shade of brown with a soapy-like head, aroma of fruity malt dominates with a hint of brown sugar.Taste is not real complex but tasty, fruity with a hint of herbal hop with an almost soapy finish.A good quaffer not outstanding but pretty good.

At the brewpub. Somewhat amber golden yellow, good lace, foamy head. Bit of yeast there to make it interesting. Drinkable. Their beers are wanting in aroma, except for the one high gravity stout. This is their most popular beer, with somewhat more taste than a macro.

On tap at the brewery. Served in a pint glass.

A - Poured dark amber. Slightly translucent. Small amount of white head.

S - Sweet caramel malts. No hops at all.

T - Sweet caramel malts with some toffee. No hops at all. Smooth and very drinkable but lacks complexity.

M - Light body, low carbonation.

D - A very enjoyable easy-drinking amber beer but could use a slight hop bite.

Pours a clear amber red with a white film for a head.

Smells of light copper and biscuit malts.

Light biscuit malt flavor up front with a mild hoppiness following that.

Light body with tingly carbonation on the tongue.

A little bland but drinks easy and feels clean. Not very memorable but pairs with food okay and quenches the thirst.

On-tap in a pint glass.

Appearance: hazelnut brown with thick lace and head

Nose: caramel and malt, sweet

Taste: hops beginning with a malty finish, very balanced

The waiter forgot our appetizer so this beer was on the house which, by default, makes it the best beer in the world. Overall this was a great beer; one that I can sit down and enjoy a few all day and night.

16oz. pint

A - very nice light amber color with a little bit of head

S - nice combination of malt with a small hint of hops

T - nice amount of malt sweetness as is to be expected I guess but balanced out with a bit of hop bitterness

M - very good full mouth feel although I felt it was a little under carbonated

D - Refreshing but not too drinkable the sweetness might make you sick after a while it did to me.

Light rusty red with a small head that dies quickly. Aromas of sweet malts, and a bit of hops and spice. Taste follows suit, slightly spicy, and hoppy, but all-too-bland. Mouthfeel is thin, but not horrible. Drinkability is not the best. Still, not horrendous.

presented with a slightly hazy deep copper colored pint that had very little for a head and left small bubble lacing
smell was faint roasted malts
taste is a bland malt nothing special really has the typical "pearl st. tinge to it"
mouthfeel was medium bodied again nothing that stood out
drinkability this was a good beer just not the best alt I've ever tasted

Had this with a Reuben at Pearl Street. Pours a dark golden amber with a slight head, leaving some lacing along the glass. Smell is malty with a slight hint of hops. Taste is crisp with just the perfect amount of carbonation. Very solid beer, but not particularly noteworthy.

Rust-orange body with a slightly tan cap, decent retention. OK malt on the nose, some hop aromas. Improved taste, slight hazelnut, nice hop flavor but not much of a hop texture, which falls a bit flat. Decent stuff, straightforward, not much to wow the drinker. Pearl Street should liven it up with more hops. Not bad all in all.
