The atmosphere was great. Kind of warehouse meets college bar, meets Applebees. Good band playing.
The quality of beer was allright, but the Stella Artois I had on tap tasted skunky. Having never had Stella before, I can't be sure. The Lake Effect Pale Ale was a solid offering.
The service was poor. The waiter was overworked and barely visited us after our first visit from him, 10 minutes or so after we were seated.
The bathrooms were in poor shape too. My wife said the ladies' room was as bad as any she's seen. Wet floors and "debris" on the stall walls.
The beer selection was great. Several great ontap selections, including one from another microbrewery in town.
The food was top notch, if pricey. It's been called high-end bar food and that fits. We had the meatloaf and Buffalo Chicken strips. Both were excellent.
Great beer, great food, poor service. It seems the management is cutting a few corners while banking on the popularity of it's location near the ball park in Buffalo.
Not enough servers, not enough staff to keep bathrooms clean, and not enough ketchup. A waitress asked for ours when we were done with it to use on another table.
I shouldn't let the management read this, but we'll probably go back, bad service and all. But we'd stop more often when passing through if we knew we could count on good service.

Passing through Buffalo, stopped here for dinner and some brews, really enjoyed the place. Service was fast and friendly, food tasted good, prices were reasonable. Their house beers were overall pretty good and I hope to go back the next time I am passing through.

Stopped in before a Sabres game. This is the place to go, only a block away from the rink. The main level was full, but they told us we could seat ourselves in the heated outdoor patio. I was a little concerned when they told us this, but they have a full bar and lots of room. We didn't feel the cold, but that could have been the beers that helped. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and order our food, but its a good system because the food was quick considering how busy the place was. The beer selection was overwhelming, which isn't a bad thing in my books. There were 10-12 taps and lots of selection from light to dark beer. I tried a double IPA and a raspberry stout. Both were very tasty. Food was average pub food, but well done. We had wings, fries and other finger foods.

It's a good stop for a good cold beer and a good burger. It is a really nice, comfortable atmosphere - laid back... Pretty decent selection of beers, locals, crafts and all. They seem to always have some Great Lakes on tap - good for me. I'd recommend this stop. we have enjoyed it the few times we've been there.

Food and Atmosphere are the reasons to come here. It has a very laid-back brewpub feel making it very easy to relax and enjoy a few beers. Gone here a few times for lunch and was always satisfied with the food especially the wings and their specialty pizzas.
