Oh man. It was incredible to sit down and have a real pint of Guinness. This place was great. I'm so glad I went today, and will plan to go back soon. They did however mess up my bill, which I realized only after leaving, but its been so long since I'd had a good tap beer here in Brazil I simply let it slide. The servers were good, a little slow, and they didn't even have the Black and Tan available so I was a little let down by that. The price was about R$16 per beer on tap, and me and a friend shared they potato skins which at R$15 a pop is a pretty good deal, because they go great with a Guinness. Overall a great experience I hope to go again soon.

All Black looks and acts like another cookie-cutter Irish pub, but the distinction to be made here is the bottle selection that makes this place worth a quick visit. And maybe the daily food specials they have from 6-9p. They have wood, lots of it on the inside. Oldies rock music played as I sat at the bar and had the daily food special of fish and chips, for a mere R$12 (US$5.20)! The chips were meh, but the fish rocked. And yes, I washed it down with a beer, a stinky German import (Pfungstadter). That's what happens when I choose the beer on special....blame the clear glass bottle :-p. I could have chosen Erdinger or a beer called Wallaby's on-tap, or Coopers, Duvel, Kilkenny, Strong Suffolk, Greene King IPA, or Mardesous from the bottle. The visit turned out to be pretty inexpensive considering. They have a cover charge to this place six days a week (R$10), so plan to stick around and listen to a live band to make it worthwhile....or get lucky and get away without paying it, as it was in my case. A decent place for a beer geek to hang out at.
