Looks like an average pilsner, with better than average head retention. Golden and fizzy, but more foam on top than your average fizzy yellow beer.
Disappointing nose. Light malts and corn sweetness, no hops whatsoever.
Taste is like the nose. Slight noble hop presence though. Mostly a disappointing Pils.
At least this beer has a solid body foundation to stand on. Nothing too watery or thin here, carbonations just right.
I would be willing to give this one another shot if I found it fresh, but a dusty old can from the African store in Beauvais is maybe not the best example of the brewers' work. Overall though, not bad. I'd still rather drink this than an AAL, although Leffe Blonde is par for the course for me here in Europe, and this doesn't quite match up to that standard.
