This Boulder liquor store provides a wide selection of familiar and unique products. I used to frequent the store when I was in college, however it wasn't until returned years later on business that I discovered in their store what would become one of my favorite beers, Hacker-Pschorr Sternweisse. This is a relatively difficult beer to find, evidence of their wide selection.
The staff is friendly. It's a comfortable place to shop. If you're looking for good beer in Boulder, this is the place to go.

This store was recommended as the place to stop for beer by a friend of mine who lives in Boulder. I am from NC, and travel here for work on occasion.
The store is not a giant warehouse and doesn't have "two-aisles full of nothing but beer.."; with that said, however, the beer that is stocked is the "cream of the crop", so to speak. Each time I visit, I am amazed at what treasures I can find.
This trip the treasure was Peche Mortel, at about $6 a bottle. Also saw some Lost Abbey "The Angels Share" at $17 per regular sized bottle. There are some great Belgians, including a wonderful selection of sours and geuzes that I have not seen elsewhere. Breweries represented include: Cantillion, Russian River, The Bruery, Pizza Port, Lost Abbey, local Boulder breweries, Stone, Lagunitas, Dogfish Head and others.
Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Suffice it to say that I agree with my friend; this is a must stop if you are in Boulder.

I stopped in here to stock up on bottles that I can't get in my home state of Kansas. I told the clerk (Jimmy-I think) I was from Kansas where we don't get a lot of good craft beer. Jimmy was more than excited to tell me a little about each of the beers he had in stock, and suggested quite a few really good beers. Jimmy also was kind enough to offer me a bottle of Consecctation, from his stash that he was going to purchase for himself. The service was awesome, the prices were good-nothing over priced and some things were cheaper than at the larger super store a couple of block away. The selection was great for a store if it's size.

I really enjoy going into Harvest and try to make it in there at least once a week. They carry quite a bit of great Belgian beers including one of the larger selections of Cantillon I ever see. They also will buy a good amount of speciality beers in order to have it for awhile after everyone else runs out (for instance right now they have Batch 2 of Collaboration not Litigation from Avery/Russian River, a beer I haven't seen anywhere else in months). It's mostly a wine store, which if that's your thing, it's also a great place. Their staff is super knowledgeable on the beers they have and also about upcoming releases (all of their beer geeks and buyers are at all the festivals and industry events) and have no problem talking beer with a fellow geek. They also have no problem in fulfilling or at least trying to, requests, which is always nice of a store to do.
Harvest is always worth a look. The staff is really friendly and they always have some good beer that isn't anywhere else in Boulder. A definite stop for any beer geek.

Popped in here after hiking Arapaho Pass with my gf and a couple beers at Avery. Wanted to grab a few local items to bring back to SF after our extended GABF weekend.
Upon entry you're not immediately greeted with a plethora of craft beer but it doesn't take long to find your way around. Signs easily direct you to the right aisles and the selection and quality of beers available was excellent.
Being from San Francisco, it was nice to see a lot of Colorado breweries I'm not accustomed to finding back home such as Ska, Wynkoop, and Boulder Brewing, among others.
The only service we received was at the register but the cashier was friendly and we knew what we were looking for anyway.
Pricing was reasonable and for those who like variety, the mix and match 10% discount on custom six packs certainly encourages sampling.
Would certainly pop in again if I'm ever in town.

Harvest is a nice low key liquor store. It's located in a strip mall and isn't easy to spot if you're not looking for it. Inside, the store is showing some age, but that doesn't impact the quality of the beer. The owner is quite nice and his dog was camped out by the registers on my visit.
Onto the important stuff. The beer selection here is quite nice. There are quite a few obscure Belgian imports that I haven't often spotted at other stores. US craft beers don't stray far from the CO norm, but all the well known breweries are well represented. Only a handful of beers are out on the floor. Everything else is in coolers, which made me happy. The only thing lacking was a build your own six-pack option.
Regular prices here are par for the course for Boulder. The sale prices; however, are quite good.
Overall, I'm glad I stopped in here. I'll probably visit again next time I'm in Harvest's end of town.

Nice beer store located in South Boulder. Great specialty beer section. There are a bunch of quality singles from both the US and Europe. The beer buyer does a really good job at this place. They will do special orders as well.
They also have a decent sized micro and macro pop section. Not that I buy that stuff, but still good to see.
Service is always very helpfull. Prices are pretty fair, maybe a bit high. Like I said, worth checking out if your in the area.
Some of the more special stuff is in the back, so you have to ask for it or sometimes they will take you back there to check it out.

I was beer hunting in Boulder and stopped by Harvest Wine and Spirits because I heard they had 3F. I was not disappointed, they had quite the selection of gueuze/lmabics from Cantillon and Drie Fontenein as well as some Black Albert, Haand beers and plenty of other interesting bombers. The store isn't very big but I always like to see a decent selection of rare Belgian beers. This place is no liquormax but if you are in Boulder it is worth stopping by and checking out the selection. The beers were priced about a dollar higher than I am used to seeing in Denver.

They didn't quite have the selection of local beers that I would like. Not a bad selections of Belgians. Only about 8 coolers of decent beer and one rack of non chilled 750s.
The guy running the cash register also works for Avery and he knew his beer decently, he recommended some barleywine for me.
I probably won't be going back and will try and find a better place since the prices weren't so great either. I got a 12 pack of Flying Dog for 12 and that was about it. I'm not a fan of Flying Dog either.
