750ml swing-top into Weizen glass.

Deep golden with a fluffy, billowy white head with wonderful retention.

Classic hefeweizen profile. Cove, banana and faint bubblegum in both the nose and palate.

Medium body, fizzy, foamy carbonation.

A well done hefeweizen. Hits all the points I'd expect. I'd like to have a bit foamier, full bodied mouthfeel, but it was still quite enjoyable.

A: Gold and clear. Ridiculously carbonate such that the bubbles didn't float straight up but more like a swirling turbulent fashion. Left a thick white head that retained a half inch. Bubbles started off unusually large in size but settled to a smaller dense foam. Getting down to the bottom of the 750ml bottle left a whole lot of ugly brown sticky yeast sediment. Disregard that part I guess.

S: Slight wild yeast with very mild sour raisin. Lemon citrus. Sweet wheat and oat. A touch of sweet corn.

T: Sweetness starts off fruity banana passionfruit. Tangy with a little grapefruit towards the end. Slightly sour with banana and a mild coriander spice. Bright acidity overall. The sweet and sour notes remind me of sour lemon candy and sour apple candy. Slight steel metallic taste in a cool mellow sort of way, not a contaminated way.

M: Extremely thin and light. Great for a cool refreshing session. Finishes clean and quick except for a slightly longer lingering tangy fruitiness. Very mild dryness.

O: Very tasty. Mellow and drinkable with just a hint if sourness. This is what I call a transition beer; it had a lot of flavor in a lot of different flavor profiles, which could lead you in a whole new direction. The complex flavor is enticing in several different directions. There is nothing overly strong in any direction, but its complex in many different types of flavor.

Poured from Bottle into Pint glass.

Pours a very cloudy but bright orange with a finger of fizzy white head that quickly dissolves into a weak layer atop the glass. Aroma is sweet lemon, clove and a little mustiness. The flavor sweet with mostly the lemon and some touches of clove in the aftertaste. Its medium bodied with a soft carbonation. This is a very sweet hefe, really focused on the lemon flavors and I really didn't enjoy the aroma.
