Pours out a pale gold with a rather frothy head. Huge aroma! After popping the cork in a crowded room, everyone in about 10 feet radius wanted to know what it was. Quite pineapply. Flavor is interesting: tastes a bit like a tart pina colada, with tartness increasing towards the end. Body is pretty light and thin.
I was prepared to be disgusted like with the Banana, but this is quite a tasty little concoction.

375 mL bottle. Clear golden body. What is that smell? It doesn't smell like pineapple. Strange grain aroma. Tastes really sweet. It has a little pineapple, but it's all sugar. Yikes. Medium body. Really sweet. Undrinkably sweet.

I don't know what the other reviewers have been drinking; perhaps the formula has changed over the past few years, but Chapeau's Lambic Exotic is one great tasting beverage. Really the only downside to it is that it doesn't taste like a beer. The carbonation feels more like champagne or even a soft drink, but the flavor is pineapple well balanced with a hint of lager. It is one of the smoothest tasting alcoholic beverages I have ever tried, so be careful not to overdo it. Definitely worth a try--unless you're looking for a beer, specifically.
