AJ's Club Soda is one of my favorite Saturday night hangouts. Lots of room to sit or spread out, and even when it's crowded there is still lots of room to move around. The bartenders even keep an eye out for seats that are opening up for those folks that are standing. At its busiest, however, table service can be a bit slow. I don't mind, however, because it gives me time to enjoy my tasty brew.
They maintain a good selection of beer on tap, and it is rotated fairly frequently. DFH has been on tap every time I've been there (60 minute, 90 minute, Punkin Ale), Maredsous, Allagash, and Troegs to name a few. They also have some of the typical brews on tap. I haven't sampled their bottle selection.
Food, from what I've had, isn't bad...but it can be a bit on the pricey side. I haven't eaten dinner there, only midnight munchies.
Overall, great place to hang out. A more experienced crowd (I don't want to say older), a jukebox that isn't too loud, good brew, and friendly bartenders. Definitely worth a stop.
