Been psyched to check this place out, finally got the chance last night and brought the family...

We arrived at 5:30 (Friday) and the parking lot was already packed - but plenty out back at the Ace Hardware. Atmosphere was awesome - not overdone.. dark wood, pleasant lighting, and a fireplace that we sat in front of on a comfortable couch while the bar waitress brought me a Centenial IPA.

I thought the service was excellent, esp given the amount of time they've been open (1 mo now) and the crowd. From the hostess, to the bar waitress, to our table waitress, to the bartender ... all were on top of their game.

Beer selection was simply outstanding, and they're having a "mini Hop Fest" to celebrate their 1 mo. anniversary. Enjoyed a Founders Centenial IPA before dinner, a Bell's HopSlam with, and a Stoudt's Fat Dog to finish it off. The menu selection was right-sized for this place. We enjoyed the Tipsy Monk mussels (a little cool, but tasty) to start, my wife had Seared Tuna 'warm Asian' salad (done just right), I had the Grilled Hangar Steak - which I simply can not rave enough about - perfectly done and sitting atop some of the creamiest garlic mashed potatoes I've ever had. The kids enjoyed a burger and a large order of chicken fingers -- the fries were AWESOME, with a terrific seasoning. They don't have a dedicated kids menu yet, but our waitress was accomodating in letting us know of the various 'kid-friendly' items they do have available.

We found the value to be EXCELLENT - I'm pretty sure no pint was over $6, entrees were all 12-19, and somehow my wife's seared tuna salad was only 9!

I even picked up a bomber of Russian River Damnation to go ... Can't wait to hit this place regularly.

Craft Ale House is a great place to sample some great beers or have an excellent dinner! Only real drawback is the limited seating! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Always an excellent selection on draft and a huge bottle list! Offers discounts on 6 packs to go!

Stopped in here with some fellow BA's earlier last week. This was our second choice of the night but we ended up being pleasantly surprised with how it was. The whole place is rather spacious which was nice when you needed to walk around to the bathrooms or over to the beer coolers along the left side wall. The quality was very nice, clean looking just well kept and cozy. The selection was pretty solid with the minor exception that most of the beer we were asking for off the bottle list were sold out. Pretty bummed when you see Parabola on there and it's not actually available at the moment. The food looked good from what I could see others eating but I hadn't ordered any myself. Overall the value of the place is worth checking out, they also give discounts on 6 packs when you buy them for take-out. Very good service also, Justin was a great bartender to us and I wanna make sure he gets a proper thank you on here to him. If I ever end up in Limerick again someday I'll be sure to stop back into this pub for a good round or two.

I was able to stop in here a few months back with a few college friends. It was later on a Friday night and the place was pretty busy. There was a twenty minute wait for a table, but we found a place at the "outer bar/breakfast nook."

Both the hostess and the two bartenders were very friendly. The hostess suggested we snatch the open seats by the bar. We were all able to order right away as the bartenders noticed we were standing with empty hands.

The tap list was pretty good with 16 taps ranging from locals (Sly Fox Pils, Yards Love Stout (nitro), Prism Love is Evol), other craft brewers (21st Amendment Bitter American, Great Divide Belgica), to imports (Duvel, Saison DuPont). The bottle list was even more extensive with Russian River, AleSmith, Dogfish Head, and many, many more craft breweries. Imports were also featured in the bottle coolers.

Prices were very reasonable for a bottle shop. The draft prices were spot on. All of our drafts were fresh and served in the proper glassware.

We had a nice visit to the Craft Ale House. I will want to stop in again the next time I visit my old college friends.

This place by far is one of my favorite to visit and easily accessible for me as its right in my own "backyard". They have an extensive collection of hard to find and popular craft beers. For example, AleSmith IPA, Speedway Stout, an extensive collection of Dogfish Head, the list goes on. A favorite of mine is to stop and pick up a few bottles for the night. Also great food and great service. Food is pub style and fantastic. If in the area I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat and a few good beers.

Decided to check this place out on a Friday night when my mother-in-law wanted to meet up somewhere near Phoenixville. I had read some of the reviews on BA, as well as Google and Urbanspoon, and I'll admit I was a little nervous about the service based on what I had read. It was obvious this place had a great selection, but my wife often likes to ask for alterations to whatever she orders when we go out, and I wasn't sure how that would be received. We arrived around 5pm and had no trouble getting a table, although it did start to fill up quickly and by 6-6:30pm there was a wait. We had a high-top table near the bar and our waitress was very attentive and seemed to have a pretty good knowledge of the beer. I had a Monk's Flemish Sour Ale and a Ballast Point Barrel-aged Black Marlin, and both were priced around $5, which I was happy with. As far as the food went, all 3 of our meals were delicious, and the waitress didn't bristle at all when my wife asked for some slight changes to her meal. We weren't rushed at all, and before we left I grabbed 4 bombers (Cantillon Gueuze, BP Victory at Sea, Avery 18th Anniversary, and Lost Abbey Gift of the Magi) which were discounted 20% because I purchased 4. The prices weren't bad to begin with, but with the discount I was thrilled. The bottle selection was ridiculous!

Overall, I was very pleased with our experience - great beers, great food, and I left with some great bottles and a great price. Definitely will go back.

Stopped in here with some friends from work after a long day.

Craft Ale House is fairly small looking from the outside and inside, well, it's pretty small and fairly tight corners. What a nice place though. Outside looks spiffy with new renovations. Inside, pretty much 90% dark wood interior. Few beer signs and more cozy surroundings is a plus as I hate for a bars interior to be another form of advertisement. One of those almish fireplaces with a two person couch if I recall correct. Bar area is incredibly small and hard to get a seat at. Tables surrounding that with a mix a six to go selection and another cooler of beer behinf the bar. Bathrooms were spiffy.

Grabbing a table(which was mad close to another table) I was greeted promptly by my server and she was pretty hot. That's always a plus! I ordered up some daisy cutters and that new Victory DIPA. Clean glassware and proper pours.

I ordered up a marhgaretta(Sp?) Pizza and some other grub. It was decent, nothing spectacular, but above most bars food offerings. It took a bit to get the food as well and it was not all that busy. Everybody enjoyed the food though so it's a win.

Pretty nice draft list with about 16 or so representing most styles. I wish I came here a week sooner when they had Cantillon 100% Kriek on tap(Kicks Rocks). A killer bottle list as well that is up to date. I mean this list rivals most out there nad reminds me of Eulogy's list in terms of sheer volume and beer styles/breweries/Etc.

A nice small spot that im sure has a loyal local following, because let's face it, what else is there to do in Limerick. Im going to come back and try to get a bar seat and see if the tenders really know their beer.
