I stopped in while in town on business to check out the selection. It's a typical Whole Foods type independent market. The food selection looks solid and the beer selection is decent. I picked up a few Cigar City cans to try. It's worth a stop if in the area but nothing to go out of your way for.

vibe: 3.5 | quality: 4.5 | service: 2 | selection: 4 | food: 5

Atmosphere: Not too bad at all, easy to select brews, and nearby a lot of food and produce.

As a result the place smells great ^_^

Quality: Pretty nice. a step up from publix but a step down from ABC or LL

Service: not much here for beer. your pretty much on your own unless a customer wants to help you chose something

Selection: refer to quality

food: Great, but pricey. some greats eats at this place, especially if your a vegetarian.

Value: it is a bit pricey, but it is often worth it
If you want to try something different, give emmn a try

Atmosphere - Casual and laid back co-op; can get crowded at times

Quality - Excellent organic selection of food and support of regional microbreweries (Cigar City & Terrapin)

Service - Superior customer service friendly and with a smile; not a beer geek by any means but knowledgeable and eager to assist

Selection - Above average selection for the area with a neat build your own sixer option

Food - Crispers is right next store with fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches; organic is the apparent theme

Value - Price is on par with the area

I just found out about this place a few months ago and was kind of skeptical about buying real craft beer at a grocery store but my friend insisted that we go so I could see for myself and WOW!
This place is great! They always seem to have new releases before anyone else and they bring new beers in all the time! That alone is enough to bring me back every week. Not only is the selection amazing, but the sales people are really friendly and willing to help you find things that suit your taste. The prices are reasonable too. In most cases they are better priced than any other place in Tallahassee or Thomasville. The weekly beer and wine tastings are really popular and fun. I've not only tried some amazing beers that I may have never otherwise tried, but I've met some great people too!

New Leaf Market is a great place to get craft beer! It features a lot of small microbreweries, including those relatively close to this area of Florida. Of course, you can always get your Guinness and Heineken too. Unlike Liquor Loft, you can buy everything in a single, and they do free beer tastings every Saturday afternoon from 4:30-6pm so you can taste the new stuff that's coming into the store.
It's definitely the best selection of beer at any type of grocery store, and may only be outdone by some of the better liquor stores in town. Even so, the prices are about the same as everywhere else for the craft beers, but you can get really good deals on 30 packs sometimes (I think it was $7.99 for a 30pk of Genesee? Granted I don't want to drink that, but it's still a bargain if you're throwing a party.)
It's a good idea to check in pretty frequently because they are always updating the selection. They don't always have a lot of staff on hand for beer specifically, but if you ask they are always extremely helpful. Overall, this is a very good place to buy and taste beer!

New Leaf Market in Tallahassee is a much better option for buying good craft beer than buying at your local gas station, liquor store, or drive-thru beer barns that exist in Tallahassee.

New Leaf Market not only is a good grocery store for locally grown and organic products, they have a really good beer selection for Tallahassee including beers that are rare to find in the panhandle of Florida. If you live in Tallahassee, I'd definitely recommend New Leaf Market as a place to buy good craft beer.
