This place has become my go to place for beer. Matt and the guys are great. For mixed bottles they have an ever-increasing selection at reasonable prices. Their bomber and 750 mL selection usually has some real gems, and often times you will find things not readily available around here. I'd put their prices somewhere between D's and House of 1000 beers.
Where their beer selection really stands out is in the taps. Currently there are 12 taps, and all are craft beers. There is always one East End and one Rivertowne Pourhouse beer on tap. I also see Church Brew Works stuff there as well. They seem to go out of their way to get their hands on some good stuff. Growlers are sold there or you can bring in your own, and the prices are reasonable.
Finally, their food is is typical bar fare, but they do it quite well. Their wings and pizza are top notch.

I stopped in there yesterday drove by it for many years and never stopped. I'm glad I did the staff was really knowledgeable about their beers. The tap selection was pretty good, and they offer growlers to go a little pricey but decent beers. They mainly have all 12oz bottles, but they did have a few 22s. They have decent seasonals from Pumking to Bells Best brown. Will defiantly stop there again. They offer food but I didn't try any.

Great Beer Place... Always a great Tap selection. Smart staff. Excellent bottle selection, good Pizza and Wings. (Love the Sexy Sauce..)
Growler fills a slight bit more pricey compaired to others in Exploding Pittsburgh area Beer scene, but very acceptable...
Kid friendly place. Never much of a wait time to sit down. Comfortable, relaxed crowd always on hand providing a nice atmosphere for all.
PA LCB made them do away w/ MUG club, which sucked, but not 3 Riv. fault.
Totally enjoyable on every visit.

This is a great place! It is really a 6 pack shop (in a state that does not permit 6 pack sales, no less) with taps and a bar. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and low key about it.
I was shocked to find it opening, and so near my house (well, three miles--its kinda country). A wonderful little gem in an area not previously noted for beer selection. They have a great micro selection, which consistently includes beers new to me, and I keep up with my beers!
They have 4-5 taps, with a good mixture of changing selections. Up next to the taps sits several issues of beer magazines.
In the BA rating system, the last category is called "Value". Unlike the rating scale implies, value does not mean "cheap to expensive". It means "the amount of worth you get per unit of cost". By this definition, this place is literally world class in value.

Update: Have been back several times after initial review, place has picked up considerably on servic, selection & quality. Ratings adjusted appropriately, specifically Tap and Bottle.
I think this place has been open now for around 8 months? I come by this way from work sometimes and decided to stop in.
Atmosphere: around half dozen Pub tables upon entering with several bottle coolers to your right. Open and airy but kind of sterile as well.
Selection/Quality: bottle selection was nothing to knock your socks off, mostly your standard Micro's: DFH, Great Lakes, Bells, Great Divide, etc...no Belgian or hard to find. Mostly uninspiring. But the saving grace of this place was that they have a 5 tap draft system with some quality offerings. When I was there, they had GL Independence Ale, Leffe Brown, East End selection, Yuengling Chesterfield Ale and an offering from Rivertowne Pourhouse Brewpub in Monroeville. That alone, would make this a worthwhile stop.
Value: was very good with a pint $3 and 12oz bottles ranging from $2.50 up to $5. They also have a mix a six and get .50 off of a bottle. Not a bad deal.
Overall: If they amped up the bottle selection considerably to include Belgian, RIS and some hard to get stuff, this could become a destination bottle shop. Right now, if I am in the neighborhood and want a nice draft then I would definitely make a stop.
