We heard about this shop on the radio and decided to visit a while ago. They are mostly known for their wine selection which is huge and very diverse but I was surprised to find a small but interesting selection of beer consisting of many local and statewide brews. The store itself was impressive with very nice decor and a huge wine loft. I was relieved to find that the staff was very knowledgeable and approachable because I have had a hard time getting information about new brews at some of the other stores in the area (Sicilianos for example). I would have rather the beer been in the back of the store than in the front by the windows but none of the u-pick six pack that I bought seemed to be light struck. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Not a bad place if you are looking for wine, but in terms of beer selection, it is pretty limited to local stuff and a few imports; nothing spectacular. My biggest gripe is that nearly 100% of the beer in the store is right under the outside window!
The cooler & shelves are facing an outside window, plus a bunch of displayed 6packs are actually in the window itself!
I dont think I would ever purchase beer from there since almost all of their beers are probably light struck.
However, the staff was very friendly and helpful the second I walked in. Bought a few wines that I fancied up in there huge attic, but I would shy away from it if you are looking for beer.

More of a winery than a beer store (as the name would indicate). If you're shopping for beer, you're better off going somewhere else unless you just got out of a movie and are heading right over to a friend's house or something. There were scattered Michigan beers as well as a smattering of others in the cooler. All the beers were cold, if that matters to you.

Most of the wine is upstairs and organized by country/region. I bought a nice Argentinian wine and passed on the beer. A true rarity for me. They sell various foodstuffs as well. My wife bought a jar of vodka sauce and the pasta she created with it tasted great. Still, there just isn't really that much here. I would advise going to Russo's for a similar, yet better, shopping experience. I will give this place points for having an owner who is really willing to take suggestions. He was very helpful and willing to add anything to a list of beers/wines/foods he would order.
