Pours dark and rich looking. More brown than black and mostly dense tan head which leaves some lacing. Soft spicing in the aroma with a deeper notes of a richer mild chocolate.
Decent complexity to the flavor. Spices lay on tongue and mix nicely without over powering. Base still holds a nice milk stout flavor. Appropriately small body for size of beer with ample carbonation.
I kinda' like this. I'd take another.
Great art on the can.
Thanks #2. Appreciate it.

I'm not a chai fan but this is a good beer and pairs wonderfully with the menu.

L: Pours a pitch black color with no head and no lacing on the glass.

S: Notes of chai spice, milk and lactose, some chocolate and roasted malt and maybe a little vanilla.

T: Strong notes of chai spice, milk and lactose, some roasted malt. There is a strong spicy bitterness in the back end.

F: Full body and lower carbonation.

O: This beer is nice bit the chai spice is a little too strong for me.

This was a solid stout, though I got more of the milk flavor than the chai. It's one of their two main beers (Himalayan IPA being the other) and does go quite well with their food. If they ever put this on nitro I bet it would be really good.
