Thanks to sonoma01 for the extra.

Pours a fairly clear gold with a 1 finger creamy white head. A touch of lacing down the glass.

Aroma: A light citrus hop bite with some bready kind of cheap grainy smelling malt.

Starts off with a touch of citrus. A bit too much caramel/bread malt in the middle. Slight fruit esters as well. Finishes with a touch of earthy hops and plenty of astringency.

Mouthfeel and carb are good.

Eh it's drinkable, but I wouldn't recommend it. I could definitely put down a few of these if it was around, but wouldn't really seek it out.

12 oz. bottle tried 27 Sep 2008. Gift from R&S.

Poured into a shaker pint glass. Medium beige head. Cloudy fawn brown color. Sweet honey bready aroma with some tart peach and resin. Flavors seem kind of muddled, bitter hoppy and sweet, but nothing really stands out. Earthy. Aftertaste is a bit stale.

Needs more assertive flavors and a bit more hops.

Description states, "Cascade and British East Kent Goldings"

Hazy copper, low malt and hop aroma, medium esters with no DMS (good). Medium body with firm hop flavor, earthy EKG's, lingering hop flavor with malt out of balance. I think the Goldings eathy flavor wins out here, I would have enjoyed more Cascade character, to bring the flavor into balance.

Once again a trade has spurred me to rate this one.

Poured into my pint glass the beer is a mostly clear amber golden hue. The off white head reaches about two fingers and slowly fades to leave a solid lace ring.

The aroma is sweet pale malt, light wheat crakers and a touch of citrus hops. Nothing real strong but not offensive at all.

The flavor is rather muted. What is there is mostly light malt and a bit of citrus bitterness. The finish is rather dry and sour. A slight metallic character comes through on the finish.

Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation.

Overall a less than stellar beer. I would love to for once in my life be wowed by a beer brewed in Milwaukee. Today is not that day.

Mid-range reddish amber with a fluffy head of white foam that lasted and left good lacing. Aromas of some US hop variaties, perhaps Cascades, plus some bready malts to balance it out. Fine, but quite bland. This is the sort of brewpub beer that I am quite sick of. Taste is average as well, some malts, some hops, it's decent, but just bland. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, drinkability is average. Average all the way round. I see others enjoyed this one quite well, but I just found it to be horribly ho-hum..

I'm surprised about the praise this gets. Medium copper with amber hues and a creamy dense tan head. Moderate lacing. Smell is weaker but a touch of caramel and biscuit with some earthiness. Taste is just muddled. Some sweet malts, some dry hops. Not too bitter. More biscuity than anything else. A bit of a thicker body with not too much liveliness to it. Very muddled all around. Very average all around.

A: Light copperish (orange/amber)color. Poured a 1 finger stark white head teh dissipated quickly to a skim. Thin lacing washed down the sides of the glass.

S: Citrus and floral hops dominate the nose. Some light, bready malts in the background.

T: Caramel malts and notes of sweet, dark fruits (raisin, date, plum). Floral hops throughout, bittering at the finsh. Unfortunately an oxidized mettalic aftertaste.

M: Light body. Seemed like this beer coiuld use more carbonation.

D: Need to try it again on another day since the mettalic flavor seemed the only thing that struck me as wrong. Other than the carbonation, malt bill seemed in good balance with flavoring/bittering hops.

Lovely copper and medium amber haze with some small suspended bits hanging around too. Nice. fluffy white head of two fingers. This retains to a nice filmy foam.

The aroma has a grade C citric, orange peel aroma
some damp Earth and a biscuit or two.

The taste starts bitter orange peel hopswith some earthy notes mixed in and biscuit grains.
The middle sees a small change over of citric bitterness to pinebark bitterness, but with the malts getting a little sweeter. The finish has a more mild orange peel and a more candy like malt sweetness.

This beer has a very atringent but smetimes crisp snap. I think I would like to drink only 2 or 3 of these and that would be it.

This beer is decidely hoppy with a ton of bitterness and not a lot of citrusiness. I had a hop itch to scratch, and this beer accomplished that.

Appearance is a hazy golden color with a minimal amount of head. Appearance was ugly in a way, but definitely signaled that this beer contained some serious hoppiness (which would work counter to that ugliness). Aroma was lightly citrus-y and very good. Flavor was not as good; very dryly bitter but without any pine or citrus notes. Personally, I like bitter, but believe bitter is better when accompanied by something else like pine or fruitiness. Mouthfeel is dry and crisp, and not really sticky. Pleasant, but not too drinkable.

Pours a murky brownish yellow with a medium beige head. Aroma is of citrus, caramel, and pine notes. Taste is slightly bitter with hop flavor, but finishes verrrry slightly sweet and short. This makes it pretty drinkable, although it is a little bit watery.

Served on tap at the Milwaukee Ale House. Bright amber body with tight white head. Aroma is floral hops. Light to Medium bodied with light carbonation. Soft hop bitterness that dominates the flavor and finish. I'd like to see the malt have a bigger role, but overall this is a great after work beer.
