Picked this up on my Wisco beer run. Poured from the bottle into a pint glass.

A: Pours a nice honey gold with a 1 finger bone white head. Good foamy head leaves nice lacing and impressive retention.

S: Clove, hops, citrus, floral, some bread.

T: A nice pale ale. It has the nice hop bitterness mixed in with the floral and sweet citrus tastes. A well balanced beer that is pleasant to drink.

M: Good mouth coating and aftertaste.

Thanks to sonoma01 for the extra.

Pours a fairly clear gold with a 1 finger creamy white head. A touch of lacing down the glass.

Aroma: A light citrus hop bite with some bready kind of cheap grainy smelling malt.

Starts off with a touch of citrus. A bit too much caramel/bread malt in the middle. Slight fruit esters as well. Finishes with a touch of earthy hops and plenty of astringency.

Mouthfeel and carb are good.

Eh it's drinkable, but I wouldn't recommend it. I could definitely put down a few of these if it was around, but wouldn't really seek it out.

Once again a trade has spurred me to rate this one.

Poured into my pint glass the beer is a mostly clear amber golden hue. The off white head reaches about two fingers and slowly fades to leave a solid lace ring.

The aroma is sweet pale malt, light wheat crakers and a touch of citrus hops. Nothing real strong but not offensive at all.

The flavor is rather muted. What is there is mostly light malt and a bit of citrus bitterness. The finish is rather dry and sour. A slight metallic character comes through on the finish.

Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation.

Overall a less than stellar beer. I would love to for once in my life be wowed by a beer brewed in Milwaukee. Today is not that day.

Thanks goes out to beerwolf77 for this brew.

Pours a nice cloudy golden yellow color, nice carbonation, nice one-finger creamy/fizzy off-white head, with some nice sticky lacing left behind. The nose is hoppy, with some malts, and a nice little citrus note. The taste is hoppy, malty, a little sweetness, with some nice citrus note. Medium body. Drinkable, this one surprised me, pretty good.

Lovely copper and medium amber haze with some small suspended bits hanging around too. Nice. fluffy white head of two fingers. This retains to a nice filmy foam.

The aroma has a grade C citric, orange peel aroma
some damp Earth and a biscuit or two.

The taste starts bitter orange peel hopswith some earthy notes mixed in and biscuit grains.
The middle sees a small change over of citric bitterness to pinebark bitterness, but with the malts getting a little sweeter. The finish has a more mild orange peel and a more candy like malt sweetness.

This beer has a very atringent but smetimes crisp snap. I think I would like to drink only 2 or 3 of these and that would be it.

Wow, I see they now bottle this? Cool. This was the first beer I ever had in Milwaukee. After checking it out, I decided, hey, I think Marquette is a great school to go to. Yup, I decided to spend $70,000 on law school in large part because of a beer, this beer. Go Marquette!

Appearance, looks like a good, auburn orangey American style pale ale. Smell, you can tell there's some Cascade hops in there (I'm guessing, I don't know, but based on taste/smell, I'd say Chinook, Cascade, Centennial). The taste is heaven. Its like a little bit of Chico, CA in the beer capital of Milwaukee. I was very impressed to have a west coast style pale ale in the heartland of German style lagers.

Mouthfeel and drinkability are quite nice. Doesn't have anything complex to it, its a straight forward pale ale. Doesn't develop a different feel midway through or anything. Very drinkable.
