(Served in a bow tie glass)

A- This beer pours a slightly dense aged copper body with soft peaks of beige head with lots of big bubbles on top. There is a few big bubbles of carbonation working to the surface.

S- The slightly dry nougat quality grows into a toast and cracker malt aroma but still stays pretty soft.

T- The dry toasted malt note leads to a bit more biscuit malt. There is a hint of tartness to the hop flavor in the finish which is slightly dry and a soft bitterness lingers.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a gentle fizz that grows a bit in the finish.

O- This beer has a nice dry malt character but the bitterness, which is really boosted by the carbonation, overpowers the malt. The bitterness does die down as the carbonation does.

Pours dark reddish amber with a white, lasting head. Trailing lace sticks.

The smell is of light toast, caramel/nougat and a hint of citrus.

The taste is of sweet caramel with a touch of resinous pine and juicy citrus in the finish.

It is velvety, creamy smooth. It has the body of a smooth, "sessionable" ale. Which this is, so it works very, very well!

This is a nice amber ale. It leans more malty than hoppy. The caramel isn't too sweet - well, balanced - and certainly one that is easy to drink. A solid choice for a caramel-ish, but not too sweet, session ale!

Pours amber in color with a half finger off white head that has decent retention.

Smell has some good lightly toasted malt that has some caramel and slightly nutty notes. Hops are spicy, slightly herbal and crisp.

Taste has some light nutty and caramel malt flavors. More herbal hops can be detected in the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a crisp refreshing finish and moderate carbonation.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tumbler

A- Rosy amber color, clear. Light tan head only stays around with some agitation. Only a little lacing.

S- Caramel malt character with dull earthy hop tones.

T- Mild roasted, maybe even a little burned straw flavor. Very mild earthiness in the hop department.

M- Medium body. Bit of a drying finish.

O- Not great. A little generic tasting, and frankly, bland.
