Revenge is the sweetest thing, especially when Addie gets to it. She represents our Outlawed Release IPA. An Abundance of citrusy hops make up the nose and flavor of this gold-colored ale, rounded out perfectly with pale vienna and crystal malts.

Hoppy, a bit citrusy, and very smooth. Not very complex but pretty solid, like their Hoppy-Ki-Yay, but not as dry of a finish.

This one is rather CANplexing. I was going to attribute it to my local, in-person trader but he has attributed it to me! I now believe that it is a result of one of my visits to my aunt & uncle in DC where the depth & breadth of available beers is incredible. Spendy, but unbelievable! The CANQuest (tm), like rust, never sleeps.

"Handcrafted".
I Crack!ed open the vent on this one only to unleash some foaming action through the vent. 8=O It was time for a quick C-Line Glug to get things back under CANtrol. It really was not all that impactful as it formed just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with decent retention. Color was an oh-so-faintly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose had a slightly citrusy maltiness, call it grapefruit biscuitiness. It definitely was NOT a hop explosion, if that is what you are after. I usually am, but I CAN also be forgiving as long as it is in the Style range. "Hops are the star here" & I am not sure that such was the case on the nose. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste had a mild grapefruit-citrus bitterness & while it outshined the biscuity malts, it was still rather light for the style. Finish was semi-dry, but left me feeling unfulfilled. YMMV.

A thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of malts, light citrus. Taste is herbal, some citrus, malts are present, balanced. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

As I get more into IPAs this beer was found at the Beer Den in Leland, NC.
L: Pours an opaque golden straw color. Not much of a head in the pint glass with spotty lacing.
S: Aroma and taste feature citrus hops and since this IPA is not a hop bomb ( the main reason why I was reluctant to get into IPAs ) the balance helps to appreciate the taste.
T: The citrus notes come out the most. The malt elements were hard to detect.
F: Medium body and medium carbonation.
O: A good representation of the style.

Dank, great malt backbone (reminds me of creature comfort's flagship)

Good IPA. Pours a clear bright gold color from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. Medium sized foamy white head and several wide bands of lacing on the glass. Head retention is about average. Aroma and taste feature citrus hops ( mostly orange and pineapple). Can't detect any malt characteristics (bready, biscuity or sweet), but this is not a hop bomb so there is some malt balance here. Mouthfeel is light, crisp and somewhat bitter, At over 6% abv, this is not a session beer, but it does go down easy!! Very enjoyable, well worth a try!!!

Color is a cloudy orange, aroma is faint orange, grapefruit, taste is a slightly citrus, slightly bitter hoppy, yet get some honey notes as well. I really like this beer, a drinkable IPA.
