Nothing really special about this beer. Drinks like an immature Lager. I think it may be a bit misnamed. Thought it would have a bit more color for a copper lager. It drinks easy and pours with a nice head and lacing. Simply an average beer both inn mouth feel and drinkability. There are so many other, better beers available to drink.

Appearance: Copper, light brown burnt orange color. Finger worth on head on the pour which the active carbonation continued to regenerate. Active carbonation is above average for the style.
Smell: Vienna malts on the front with accents of caramel and molasses. A touch of grassy hops show up on the body. Some slightly nutty malts with doughy buttery yeast round this one out.
Taste: Amber malts shine on the front. A touch of caramel sweetness really pulls the drinker in. Toasted nuts, warming malts, and airy grains compose the body. A touch of hops and continuing semi sweet caramel and molasses really pull this one through.
Mouthfeel: Pleasant cleanliness on the palate with lingering malt sweetness to keep you pulling on it. Carbonation is right on.
Overall: Metropolitan is certainly a premier brewery if you are looking for lagers. Impressive flavors produced with that cleanliness I always look for in a lager. Great stuff.
