Notes/Commercial Description:
Two row barley and white wheat malts combine with coriander and orange peel to create a light bodied beer with delightful orange flavor. Extremely refreshing. No fruit necessary. This is Cool's favorite.

served at brew pub.

A: lemonde color, but cloudy. Generous white, frothy head that has good retention and leaves the glass nicely coated with sticky lacing.

S: lemony and grassy smell over light malt base. Light hints of banana and clove.

T: Delicate but not 'light' flavor with notes of citrus, hay, light baked bread and noble hops. Sweet/bitter balance is excellent, as is the overall mix of flavors

M: medium-light body; good carbonation level.

O: Excellent for style! Very refreshing. 4.25

Appearance: A massive, frothy head crowns the cloudy honey colored liquid; impressive lacing action

Smell: Tangerine peel, cracker malt and a hint of coriander

Taste: Tangerine peel dominates the front end, with tangy wheat notes arriving in the middle; the coriander adds another dimension after the swallow but is overwhelmed by the citrus and wheat flavors

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body; slightly creamy; moderate carbonation

Overall: A very refreshing beer but lacks the subtlety of the better examples of the style; kind of a hybrid, American approach; great for the hot weather

Serving type: on-tap

Pours a cloudy, golden color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of cinnamon, sweet malt, coriander, slight yeast, and slight hops. Fits the style of a Witbier. Mouth feel is smooth and thick with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, citrus, coriander, and cinnamon. Overall, a good blend, body, and drinkability.

Appearance: Cloudy, pale hay-colored body with a thin, white head that yielding light lacing on the way down.

Smell: Citrusy orange-scented aroma with a waft of lightly tangy wheat and a lesser background note of coriander.

Taste: Mildly sweet pale malts with a lightly tangy wheat component. The addition of orange peel give it a sweet, freshly-squeezed juice flavor. A contrasting earthy spiciness from the coriander follows. Light spicy hops and bitterness. The coriander becomes a bit more pungent, lasting beyond the finish and into the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.

Drinkability: Tasty and immensely refreshing. A mighty fine start to my inaugural trip to Terminal Brewhouse.
