A-Rich brown with dense beige head, very nice appearance, great retention.

S-Toasted malt with slightly sweet aroma, raisins, plums, nuts, faint floral notes.

T&M. Velvety body with balance tending toward slightly sweet dark fruits. Hops shine through in finish with faint spicy and yeasty aftertaste and floral notes. I can't tell if the floral character is from the hops or the honey. A well-balanced and good quality brew. The head is great and creamier than what I typically see with this style. Carbonation is moderate and at perfect level.

O-Worth seeking out for the texture. Smooth easy drinking, and the second I've had from this brewery, which has thus far impressed me.

A: At the location there was no way to get a proper pouring glass.

S: Yeasts and soft bread smells with a backing of red berries and sour grain.

T: A malted sweetness with floral hints

M: Light body, medium carbonation with a yeasty stick

O: Wholly an average beer that would have done with a little warming up as the ice cold bottle I was served seemed to dull the aroma and flavor a great deal. The malts and honey sweetness were lovely but the doughed yeast and high carbonation were a throw off. The honey in the fermentation comes out in the sweetness but is covered slightly by the cherry and hops. For an unfiltered beer, it photographs like a gem!

Beer bottle (33 cl.), tasted in 2009.

Appearance : mahogany brown color, with tan foamy head.
Smell : fruity and spicy aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : slightly sweet with mild bitterness.
Drinkability : a good beer in the style Belgian dark ale (bottle-fermented with honey).
