"Fresh, aromatic, and green as a Leprechaun's skivvies, Certified Salmon Safe Oregon Hops are picked fresh off the vine and trucked directly to our brew kettle." Brewed in the style of a Wet Hop/Harvest Ale IPA. This is the third entry in New Belgium's Hop Kitchen series, available in 22 oz. bottles and limited draft.
Poured from a 22 oz. bottle to a globe glass. Served north of 55º Fahrenheit.
(Appearance) Pours an off-white creamy froth head over a caramel-amber body. Carbonation is moderate and sparse, clarity is very high. Retention is good and lacing is light and spotty. 4
(Smell) The malt profile is biscuity caramel, very clean with a mellow body and a light sweetness. The hops provide a full lemon and grassy aroma and add a bit of body, but don't smell too much unlike a dry hop addition, as I've had dry hop varieties in beers that generate a very similar aroma. Potency is medium. 3.75
(Taste) The hop flavor diversifies somewhat with a slightly pinier and less lemony and grassy flavor and a more profound bitterness. The malt profile is lighter by comparison, a light biscuit pale malt with a moderate sweetness. Finishes mildly dry with a lingering resin bitterness. 3.5
(Mouthfeel) Texture is smooth, chewy, oily. Carbonation adds some froth and fullness to the texture. Body is a -medium for the style, -medium overall. Alcohol presence is light. 3.75
(Overall) Ultimately it comes out enjoyable, a nice, simple pale ale with an equally enjoyable mild hop selection that provides a subtle lemony and herbal note. I'm not sure if I would be able to pick this out as a wet hop IPA if I wasn't told so, as it's so thoroughly light and drinkable. 3.75

Nice try but merely average. Initial sharp hop bitterness, but kind of flat after that. Heady with sticky lacing light amber, piney nose. Flavor is bitter but fades fast. metallic and dry finish.

Had at Coopers on tap (from notes). Fairly clear straw gold with with a 1” clingy off white foam collar. Fruity, citrusy nose with traces of vegetal from the hops. On the palate there are more hop flavors – fruit, melon, tropical, citrus, light vegetal – than bitterness. The flavors are medium high and the bitterness is medium. Has a herbal dryness on the finish. Creamy medium body and carbonation. Very easy to drink.
