Bomber poured into a pint glass

Pours a deep gold color, maybe even a little amber. Nice thick off white head. Really good lacing.

Not a bunch of smells here that I could discern. A slight honey scent. I get a slight smell from the cedar. But honestly I'm a little disappointed that this beer doesn't smell better.

Taste is right on par with what I would expect. Nice light wood flavor that mixes well with the spice of the peppers. Not too much pepper either. Spicyness on the finish, which lingers. Slight hops, but the citrus from the hops mixes well with the spices. This is a very good beer, with no one flavor dominating.

Easy drinking beer if you don't mind the spicyness on the finish. Not crisp, not creamy, middle of the road texture.

Pour is hazed golden amber with lots of white head. Nose has a bit of stale grain, some sweet candied sugar, lemon, passion fruit, and a hint of peppery spice. Taste is pretty much the same, a bit sweet of candied sugar, some fruitiness and a hint more peppery spice. Medium body, a touch syrupy and heavy in back, moderate carbonation.

Clear golden color with an attractive two finger head that had great retention before settling to a thick cap. Massive amount of lacing is left down the glass.

Rather timid and uninteresting aroma. A touch of floral and earthy notes. I pick up a little honeycomb as well. Not much going on.

Not sure what they are going for. Probably a mediocre amber ale if not for the chiles. And the chiles do not add that much just a little spice kick in the finish. Seems the brewers thought people would be scared off by them. Has some interesting citrus hop qualitie however that picks up the score a bit.

The feels deceptively light in body. Superb carbonation gives the beer plenty of life without being harsh.

Probably one of the more disappointing collaborative efforts put out there. The brewers must of put out there B team for this effort.
