Trippel pours a clear golden color with a nice long lasting lacing head. There is a a rich and spicy aroma, hints of coriander, lots of alcohol. The taste is very crisp, good noticeable amount of spices, hints of orange, good malt backbone. Nice flavors, a tad bit weak. Overall its not as rich as other trippels but has a very nice crisp fruity flavor.

12 oz. bottle, with enjoy by date of January 11, 2015 printed on the label. A new beer to me from New Belgium, acquired as part of the spring folly pack. Not a style I am too familiar with, but I am going in with an open mind.
Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.
A - Pours a nice bright golden amber yellow colored body with lots of bubbles rushing up from the etching at the bottom of the glass. Two fingers of thick frothy white head that falls to about a finger. Good fat lacing abound. Looks nice.
S - Smell initially reminds me of a Berliner Weisse beer almost - sour / cheesy / pungent. Yeasty, grainy, & wheaty. The floral coriander / bubblegum aromas are apparent, but they are much more in the background than I would have imagined. Some honeyed bready malt is also noticeable.
T - Taste is similar to the nose - lightly peppery, yeast-derived fruitiness, bubblegum malt, honeyed bread malts, grainy / wheaty, and some lemon & banana. No alcohol is detectable.
M - Feel is crisp, smooth, and clean. Light-bodied with nice carbonation.
Overall, a nice rendition of the style by New Belgium, with a moderate and unnoticeable 7.80%. An approachable take on the style, to be sure, and it has me curious to explore more.
