Appearance: I poured a 1 pt. 6 fl. oz. bottle into a glass. The head is short, but lacing is pretty good. Fair retention.
Smell: Lemon, coriander, general yeast. The alcohol is well concealed in the smell, but there's nothing in the aroma that is particularly special.
Taste: This is not offensive at all, but the flavors are mild. This is a tame trippel, one in which the alcohol is hidden but also one in which there's not a whole lot going on.
Mouthfeel: A bit thinner than I would have liked, and a touch more carbonation may have been helpful, but this beer finishes clean and goes down dangerously easy.
Overall: For $2.99 for 22 ounces, this is a good bargain, although I can't say that this is a particularly interesting beer. As I've said, this is tame and the flavors aren't too bold, but this is a session trippel if there ever was one.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass.
APPEARANCE: pours a clear straw color with slightly higher amount of carbonation, two finger head that dissipated quickly and left a thin layer of bubbles that lasted throughout, there was some lacing present.
SMELL: molasses, pears, banana and the Coriander spice really dominates with some Belgian funk.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, it's initially sweet molasses with some spice and funky Belgian bread then some lingering hops, the alcohol 7.8% is perceptible but well disguised.
PALATE: full bodied with higher carbonation.
OVERALL: this is a very good beer and reasonably priced, it's not the best I've had for the style but for the price I would not hesitate to buy again.
