Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass.
APPEARANCE: pours a clear straw yellow with less than 1 finger head that dissipated quickly leaving a thin layer of bubbles with a moderate amount of lacing, the carbonation is slightly above average.
SMELL: citrus, flowers, sweet caramel, bread, subtle and understated.
TASTE: the taste mostly followed the nose, initially sweet like a pilsner with lemon as noted on bottle, a mild hop profile, the 6% alcohol is imperceptible.
PALATE: this is a lighter bodied ale with slightly higher carbonation.
OVERALL: a very drinkable beer, a good Fourth of July beer, I could serve this to any beer drinker and it would not offend anyone, solid but not spectacular.
