New Belgium Spring Blonde has a thick, white head, a clear, bubbly (etched glass), straw appearance, and fairly heavy lacing left on the glass (it looks like Budweiser!). The aroma is of sweet, white bread and some sort of fruit (cantaloupe?). Taste is of mild, sweet, white bread, with a pleasant, straight-forward hop bitterness coming through in mid-sip. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and New Belgium Spring Blonde finishes crisp, refreshing, easy going, and mellow. It reminds me of a kolsch, in some ways. Overall, this is delicious, and I recommend it.
