Poured out of bottle with best buy date of June 1st, 2014.
Appearance: Pours a light pale yellow, with a nice thick, completely white, bumpy head. Tons of carbonation bubbles are frantically rising to the top. Lots of lacing sticking to the glass as the beer goes down.
Smell: Lemon, wheat, sweet frosting.
Taste: faint lemon, sweet malts, slightly metallic, light bite of grassy hops. The slight hop bite works well with the lemon, some grainy flavors as well. Towards the end of the beer I start picking up some fruity flavors that make this beer quite nice.
Mouthfeel: Tons of carbonation with this light bodied beer, which works well with the lightness of the flavor. Does feel just a tad watered down and slick towards the end of the beer.
Perfectly sessionable. Easy drinking but not very complex. Beer does pick up quite a bit as it warms. Just an easy drinker that would be great on a hot day at a ballgame.
