Poured a golden, straw, hazy color with 4-to-5 fingers of frothy, spongy, white head. Good amount of layered foamy lacing along the sides of the glass. Good retention.
Smelled orange, citrus hops, floral hops, wheat, honey grass, lemon and a bit of Sprite soda.
Tasted a bit better than the smell. Got Sprite soda, sweet sugary notes, citrus hops, floral hops, honey, lemon grass, wheat, kiwi and green grapes.
Light body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Abrupt finish.
A pretty good wheat ale. Would be a great beer after mowing the lawn. Nice for the summer.

This is a good American wheat. I usually choose a Belgian Witt but Snapshot is a nice change. It isn't heavy feeling and doesn't bite back like some American wheat beers. It is a little lighter/thinner tasting than a Belgian Witt but very drinkable. I also like the fact that New Belgium is employee owned.
