Really good, complex beer. You get the La Folie bitter and then you taste the whiskey in the middle. Definitely would recommend.

On tap at River of Beers. Served in a snifter.

Appearance - Deep reddish amber. Medium off white head.

Smell - Oak is strong. Whiskey comes through with lots of vanilla. Deep cherry acidity. Slightly vinegary.

Taste - Sour cherry. Strong oak. Less whiskey, but it comes through in the finish. Malty in the middle. A bit yogurty in the finish, too.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Moderately sour.

Overall - This is delicious. The whiskey is subtle, but tempers the sourness a bit.
